Tools and techniques
LabVIEWAnsems Automation uses LabVIEW development software from National Instruments. Besides LabVIEW, National Instruments offers a whole range of hardware products in the field of industrial automation. This ranges from real time and data acquisition modules to PXI cards and camera system solutions. As a result, the integration of the hardware is made very easy by using LabVIEW. Ultimately, this results in an environment where in a very short time complete industrial systems can be set up. Also external hardware vendors often offer LabVIEW drivers to easily integrate their hardware into industrial projects. If this is not the case, LabVIEW offers a wide range of possibilities for communicating with external devices and machines, such as TCIP / IP, IEEE1294, USB, Camera Link, RS232, RS485, Modbus field point etc... Over the years, Ansems Automation has developed a large number of toolkits and drivers which can be reused in projects to achieve the final result quickly and easily.
MS SQL server
In addition to LabVIEW, MS SQL server is often used in projects. MS SQL Server is a relational database management system developed by Microsoft. This system allows storage for very large amounts of data in user defined data structures. By using SQL script databases, it is very simple to link with other systems with the SQL database as a central data repository.
SVN
It is very important to deal with different software versions in an appropriate way, especially for critical software used at customers' site. This is essential for the maintainability and servability of the system. The version control tool that is used within Ansems Automation is called Subversion (svn).
